Foundations of Health, PE, and Sport
It's great to be back in Defiance. It's always nice to have a break, but by mid-December, I was ready to come back. I'm actually excited for my classes this semester. As an Athletic Training major, I have been looking forward to learning how to tape and how to apply different braces to the athletes. This semester we finally get to learn just that! However, we won't start for a few weeks. Classes started only two days ago. I'm very excited about my PE 121 class (Foundations of Heath, Physical Education, and Sport). We learn about different careers we can get to through a sport science major. We will be developing our own professional philosophy. This will describe our ethics and how we treat others in a professional setting. We also have to observe in various professional settings. I can't wait to do that. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Athletic Trainers are responsible for in the different places they work. I'm really looking forward to what this class will bring.

That's awesome! I completely understand how you feel about your classes. I feel the same way. I just wish that education majors had the opportunity to observe this semester. But alas, we have to wait until this fall. Well, I hope you enjoy all of your classes!

I completely agree about Athletic Training. I'm also really excited to learn how to tape finally. I'm also looking forward to learing more about the various injuries athletic trainers deal with. Athletic Training has been always my favorite class, which makes me happy that I might actually be on the right track of what I want to do with my life- I think. That's why I also like the PE 121 class to explore all the things within the sports science field, too. It will be a fun semester.
